Has anyone tried using a Cranial Osteopath?

My antenatal friends and friends of friends have all said positive things about using a cranial osteopath. I wondered if anyone else had had any experience using one and noticed any difference? or used one and thought it was a complete waste of time!

Have used several on 3 different children they all made a noticable difference both as newborn/young babies and on my 3 yo (to improve her sleep - it worked!)

I went with ds3 when he was 1 week old as he had colic - it went within the week and he was considerably calmer. I went to see a cranial sacrotherapist the other week as a freebie - said ds3 was fine - no problems at all - but thought I might need some sessions !

DH was very dubious - ds3 was screaming when we took him in and after about 5 minutes he turned into an angelic, calmed cherub - really serene - strange but amazing to watch - the sacrotherapist was the same.

Highly recommend

Yes - would recommend. Took ds2 for help with colic and was amazed at results.

ooooh thanks everyone, will book a session and keep my fingers crossed, my dd (four months old) is very fractious in general and also has trouble sleeping!

you could try camommilla powders - teetha podwers in the shops - very calming - not just for teething - if your baby is making you feel fractious - that is when they need camomilla!
