Ladies.... Pcos? Body/Face hair/hair on head loss HELP

Hey Ladies....

Have abit of an issue with hair.... Growing it where I don't want and loosing it where I do want it. Googled and scared myself 😭

I have been to the Dr's who have sent my to a gynae but wanted to see if anyone else has suffered with this. I've seen 3 GPS who have all contridicted each other. One said Pcos, one said perimenopause. One said it can't be PCOS at my age. One said can't be the perimenopause at my age.

I've always been hairy than normal, but since Christmas it's got worse on my face and neck. My hair has been thinning for about a year. It's not really bad but I can notice it. Google says increase in facial hair is a sign of cancer and basically I'm shitting myself.

Can you be diagnosed with Pcos at this age? Has anyone else had an increase in face hair or alot of face hair at this age.

How old are you? You can hormone problems at any age, its just less likely when you are younger, but not impossible. Please go back and see another GP and ask for a thyroid test, and b vitamin tests. Also go and see the gynae and write down a list of all you symptoms and how long they have been going on for. If you can write down the date your period started for as far back as you can remember and about how long each one was. Also have you had pain with you periods quantity of blood glow etc

47 and going through same thing. Hair loss was written off for over a year as stress, noe it’s accelerating. Now it seems menopause is kicking in and I am having biopsies on Tues at a dermatologist to see which form of alopecia I have... stress my arse.

I am 39. I don't have periods anymore as I had ablation a few yrs ago but before then I as getting more and more bleeding between periods. I was on the pill from 17/18 to 30 when I was sterilised.

Ahem... yes. Damn it to hell!!! Can’t go anywhere without tweezers!!! Bikini line has gone WAY off piste while getting very sparse at the same time.... wtf!?!?! Random pig bristles on neck, jaw, and below my ear - all where you can’t see them in a mirror! Bastards!!! One monster black one on my chin. Hate!!! Walrus mustache....

Mine started as a small patch on my chin and side burn area which u had for yrs then in the past year or so has got worse. I reckon if I left them I'd have a beard in a week. I find myself looking at other women thinking do they have this....

Oh yes... belly’s hair on face (fortunately I’m a blonde, Although this means no IPL for me!) I look like Wolverine!
