The poor DC's have been chomped by bloody mosquitos so this is a two-fold question.
Tips for stopping the biting in the first place and then tips for dealing with the bites we have.
I know about insect repellent (dur!) but if there's anything else which works a treat, I'd be grateful.

Citronella soap, or oil to prevent them biting. I dont think anything can really relief the itching.

People on this site will start to think I am on commission, this is the second time today I have posted this link.

When I get bitten I need turbo AB's to deal with any bite. I never get bitten with this stuff, it works out at about £9.00 a bottle but lasts for ages as you only need to roll a strip on exposed skin.
