I burned my fingers on Sat, please please tell me I can burst the huge blister, please

Burned my fingers (and the palm of my hand) on Sat at midday, the little finger has a gauze thing on and is Ok, I can't bend it though, sometimes tingles. The ring finger has blistered (possibly becuase I took my ring off). I stupidly put a blister plaster on it too. The blister is huge, please please tell me I can pop it, please.

Oh and the little finger is slowly starting to blister so could prob do with that being dressed.

Oh dear, you're really having a bad time. Keep a clean dressing on your finger, and try to keep it dry if you can. It's better not to use any ointments or antiseptics. I know bathing a baby in rubber gloves isn't funny, but it will help your finger, unless you can persuade your other half to do things like that. that you can't get to see the nurse; if the burn starts oozing anything other than clear odourless fluid then insist on an appointment or go to the nearest minor injuries unit.

Hope you nephew gets well soon - that sounds horrendous.
