could thrush treatment have made my period restart?

I finished my period on Monday, had tiny light little brown spots of blood, the 'leftovers' I guess yesterday. Developed a case of thrush yesterday (I've had it before, know what it is and what caused it) so went to the pharmacy today and took the ora thrush pill. Then when I got home, I went to the toilet and there was fresh bright red blood, a reasonable amount.

Could this have been my period hadn't quite finished? Or could it be the thrush or thrush treatment? I've used the pessary before but not the oral pill

Anyone? this fresh red blood is still going on, it's very very light, only when I wipe really

What age are you? My periods started doing this regularly when I got into my 40's. It would stop for a whole day, or go very very light, then seem to start again for another day then end.
I doubt the thrush tablet had anything to do with it. All I can think of if there was a lot of thrush discharge clumped on the cervix, then some of the blood couldn't come out as normal.

I'm only 23

The thing is there wasn't any discharge, I've never had discharge with thrush but I've had it confirmed by doctor that it still is thrush despite the lack of discharge

Still got a tiny tiny bit of blood but a lot better than yesterday, still got the stinging burning pain too. How long for the oral thrush pill to work? I took it about 3pm yesterday. Could the whole thrush and period and pill thing just have irritated things and that be causing it?

I'm going away tonight for the bank holiday so if it's not better by the time I'm back I'll go to a clinic
