Ache/pain in my ankle and shin

I’ve slept fitfully last night as my legs really been hurting - it feels like the sort of pain when you have a sprain and seems to be radiating up into my knee! I’ve got up this morning and my leg feels tingly and the skin looks a bit mottled where the pain is. Pic attached! Is it worth ringing the gp or will they think I’m crazy? I could probably get an appt today. I’m 5 months post partum and taking tablets for quite severe anaemia and vit d deficiency if that’s anything relevant. (I have a bite on my ankle that isn’t sore which is why my ankle is so red!)

Ring the GP. It might be nothing, but it might be a reaction to the bite on your ankle.

Sorry I should’ve said the bite is from last year which never healed properly! I have raynauds and poor circulation too. I couldn’t get in with the gp but a pharmacist has checked it and said it looks unlikely to be a dvt or cellulitis and to just keep an eye on it tonight.
