PMT/Period problem - probably too much info but please help..

I am having really weird cycles at the moment (I'm 35) For the last few months my pmt has been getting much much worse but only alternate cycles.

So last month I had 9 days of pmt which was the worst ever - agony breasts, throbbing womb.

This month 3 days of very light pmt, barely noticed, started period.

Is there any chance I could be heading towards menopause early

I don't categorically know, but I'm reading a book on hormones atm, and it said that if you don't release an egg, you still have a period, but don't experience the same pmt and cramps that you might normally.

That makes sense. I have a lumpy right ovary - so I probably am only releasing an egg alternately.

Damn.

. But not necessarily a sign of early menopause then, which is good.
