Hello!
New diagnosis to both as a result apparently of taking ponston (prescribed) for reducing blood loss during periods (which was prescribed as I was anemic 🙈)
Both completely new to me. I’ve been wheezing and sneezing away with lots of hives. And bottom probs. Didn’t think they were connected. I’m also vegetarian. Anyone else have either please?!

Ponstan© is not a salicylate. It is mefenamic acid (a derivative of anthranilic acid, not salicylic acid). If you had an allergy to one of these it's unlikely it would cross-react with the other, although there are non-allergic hypersensitivity reactions that can occur to many or all non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Have you used things like ibuprofen previously without adverse effects?
