Bladder issues - pressure and discomfort but no real pain

Hi. I’m wondering if anyone recognises the issues I’m having with my bladder. Essentially, I have a feeling of pressure and discomfort AFTER I’ve been for a wee. Sometimes it’s worse than others and exercise such as sit-ups, cycling or even swimming aggravate it. I don’t have any continence issues and can sleep through without having to get up for a wee. I’ve read lots about IC but I don’t fit those symptoms as I’m actually more comfortable as my bladder fills up. I’ve had this for years but it’s really flared up again so I’ve been back to the GP and she’s organising a more detailed investigation of my urine and also referred me for an ultrasound. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks.

Hey @Typhoon78. Did you ever figure out what this was? Going through the same currently

Hi. Sorry to hear that you're having problems. I still have the same issues although they're milder than they were at the point of my OP. I had an ultrasound and a camera to check out my bladder and all looked fine. In the end I decided that my issue is more about my pelvic floor rather than my bladder, so something like pelvic floor dysfunction. I saw a women's health physio who examined me and said my pelvic floor was a bit too tense but not too much (as far as she could tell). She wanted me to try a course of regular pelvic floor exercises but they were aggravating my condition so I didn't carry on and now I just live with it. I hope you manage to get some help.
