What symptoms are you trying to deal with?

I have found that Evening Primrose Oil helps with breast soreness/pain.

suzywong · 15/07/2007 13:46

Symptoms: Mrs Rochester

Treatments: Prohibiting anyone from looking at me directly and fluoxetine.

good luck to you

I can deal with the physical symptoms. It's the 'I'm losing my mind' ones that are getting to me. Just tend to feel really stressed and anxious around this time for the last 3 months or so. It's a horrible feeling and today if I started crying I don't think I'd stop. It's crazy because there is nothing wrong or worrying me, lack of sleep ,maybe but that's about it. But I have managed to pin point it to my pms days. Rant and ramble sorry...
Think if somebody looked directly at me now I'd just burst into tears!!!

Poor you. I suffer too and it is so horrible.

I take magnesium and as long as I remember to take it consistently, it seems to help a bit.

You could try keeping a menstrual diary for 3 months, and if things are no better take it to your GP as there are treatments available.

JackieNo · 15/07/2007 14:07

Yes - I take the Magnesium-OK multivitamins, and as long as I do remember to take it, it does seem to help. Sympathies - it's horrendous, isn't it.

Thanks I've been reading other threads here and I really have small problems compared to other people iykwim? I'm going to take myself to the health shop tomorrow to have a look. Hope I don't punch or run over someone before then!

hi veronica...poor you...tis awful.
Mine got so bad earlier in the year...had tried most thhings...without much success

One wonderful mnetter sugested Fluoxetine every third day. [gp had already prescribed it for me, but as a daily dose, which i didn't want] have been taking it every third day now and can honestly say i have been much easier to live with.

Alternatively, peace, chocolate, lots of sleep and being left alone helped.

Best wishes to you
