Bottom of my breast feels bruised

I've searched online but can only find info relating to soreness in the whole breast. The bottom of my right breast feels bruised. There kind of feels like there might be a lump but I can't tell if it's just my rib!

Am I right to ignore this and think that pain in the breast is unlikely to be sinister and it's lumps which are to be worried about?

There are glands along the bottom of the breast against the rib cage. I know this because I got thrush there while breast feeding. Could you have a virus or an infection that is causing those glands to swell or ache?

Get it checked. It’s most likely nothing, but on the very small off-chance it is something, you’ll be better getting it sorted sooner than later. Anything strange with boobs should be checked.
