Yeast infection after pelvic exam

So after suspecting I had an ovarian cyst or pregnancy for some reason, I went to the GP today, she did 2 pregnancy tests and they were negative. And then I had a pelvic exam to feel for abnormalities.

However, now my vagina slightly stings, probably because I am not used to having a plastic speculum up me, but I am also getting a funny thing but slightly white lumpy discharge, but not thick like cottage cheese. Could it be the speculum and the lube which has caused a disturbance in my yeast levels in my vagina or the prodding of my sex organs.

I am 20 years old by the way. Was wondering if thus has ever occurred to you. Two weeks ago I had used a pessary and external cream for a previous yeast infection which I had not known about for months. Could it be this, and its triggered it again.
