Stinging when weeing!!

Hiya,
It started yesterday (sp?,and it's really painful.

What can cause it?

urinary tract infection would be my first guess.

is it a burning sensation? (not to be TMI or anything) and do you have to keep going to the loo, only to have a few drips or nothing come out?

cystitis. drink tons of water and cranberry juice and flush it out

Definatly burning sensation, also itchy (I origionally though it might have been thrush, but I have neer had burning with that!)

Going to drink water today, see how it goes.

Sounds like cystitis. I would go to GP before the weekend.

Cranberry juice is good too for cystitis

• but if it doesn't clear up quickly don't leave it too long before seeing a gp - you may need antibiotics to get rid of it

You could try an over the counter remedy from pharamacist

Definitely sounds like cystitis. I always find it difficult to get rid of just trying water and cranberry juice or even the over the counter remedies. You could try them but if it's been going on for a while or if you suffer any back pain, you should go to your GP and get some anitbiotics which should clear it.

If it's a recurring problem, I found taking cranberry tablets on a daily basis really helped.
