What are these lumps on my toes?

I've suddenly got these lumps on my toes- the small foot one has gone down. They're quite sore to touch.

My big toe is bent - it looks really odd but in reality it's fine (a small bunion on side but very straight). That said, I do a lot of exercise and my feet are dry and fungally...apologies

What are that red bits? I suddenly started freaking that it was joint inflammation and early signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis...

A corn

VeepVeep · 05/04/2019 22:45

Really?! Huh. I thought corns were hard and yellow. Thank you! I'm relieved. How do I get rid of them and prevent them? Just something else to make my feet uglier

Or a chilblain?

VeepVeep · 06/04/2019 06:17

I wondered if chilblains but don't you have to be exposed to changing climates/temperatures a lot to get them? I rarely work out outdoors anymore...

Did you get to the bottom of it OP? I have sore toes as well.

Singlenotsingle · 10/04/2019 19:40

Doesn't look like a corn to me. A corn is a patch of thickened, hard skin. Haven't you been to the doctor?

Cuddlysnowleopard · 10/04/2019 19:42

I thought chilblains. Is the red area around sore?

GottaGetUp · 10/04/2019 19:46

Gout?

perhapstomorrow · 10/04/2019 19:57

Looks like the start of athletes foot to me. Normally athletes foot is a bit itchy.

VeepVeep · 10/04/2019 20:44

It's gone. Don't know what it was. It definitely wasn't gout. I wondered if it was a callous. Or some sort of fungal thing. All really delightful
