sorry to ask this but found no joy on the internet. I gave birth to my 2nd son 4 years ago by forceps, as my husband left me 3 weeks after I gave birth I have not had sex since his birth. I have now started a new relationship, sex is fine at the time but afterwards I am sore and bleed from the back of my vagina/perinum I persume where my stitches were. The soreness lasts for about 3 days. I have visited my docotor who said very thing seems normal. I am going to get a 2nd opinion but was wondering in the meantime wheather any one has had similar problems and any ideas on what could help. Thanks

this is a bit, erm, delicate but have you tried using a lot of lubricant (ky warming gel?)? sorry if im way off the mark there! i bleed after sex for almost months and months after failed ventouse then forceps delivery and a shit load of stitches. finally went to the doctor who said the usual take your time, lots of lube etc. good luck, hope it all gets sorted. if you're not convinced by your doctors opinion then ask to be refered to gynae at the hospital, they have to refer you if you request it.

I can't help, but perhaps try starting another new thread, with a title like, er, "Bleeding from perineal stitches"? and then people who know can come and help

I'd just use Ky and continue to enjoy - you might have a pile or an anal fisure that you didn't know about.

yeh tried lube, but not prob at the time its afterwards
