I recently noticed 2 small pea sized lumps in my daughters groin (one either side) after she complained of pain in the area. I hadn't felt them before and did have to root around to find them. Obviously I went into panic mode and got her seen by a GP last night. The GP felt more glands in the area, but also found some in her head, neck and under her arms. She said it may be her body fighting infection and at the moment they feel like normal lymph nodes, but she wants her to be seen in 2-3 weeks so they can check her again. I am losing my mind with worry (I'm a worrier). She has had a slight cough over the last few weeks but otherwise well in herself with energy and an appetite etc. Has anyone experienced similar or can offer any words of reassurance? I was hoping the GP would tell us it's normal and send us on our way :-(
