Dimpled wrinkly skin on boobs breast cancer or breast feeding?

Hi, I’ve been breastfeeding for ages and noticed a little while ago that I have what look like quite open pores / teany tiny blackheads on my boobs which I put down to wearing a bra all the time. My skin is also a bit wrinkly / crinkly which I put down to age / feeding but I’ve noticed in parts it feels slightly ridgy too. I now feel sick and am worrying about inflammatory breast cancer. I’ll ring the doctor in the morning for an appointment as I’m concerned that my skin has a slight orange peel appearance. I guess my question is do I need to worry so much if it appears to be enlarged pores giving the dimply appearance? Sorry for too much info but some of them can be squeeze a bit like a tiny blocked pore and if it is sagging in my skin from feeding, my lb is now a bit older so isn’t feeding so much could that cause the wrinkly but also slightly ridgy skin too? I’m in such a panic right now.

When I’ve finished a breastfeeding session and my breast is “empty” it goes all wrinkly and like orange peel. In the same way your skin can when you lose weight rapidly. It then goes back to normal when my breast fills up again. Is this what you mean? Always worth checking with GP though!

If it’s worrying you as you’re noticing something out of the ordinary for you then it is always worth checking.

Get it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you for your replies. Will definitely get a doctors appointment booked tomorrow. Jupiter it’s a more recent thing. My boobs don’t tend to get particularly full or empty now but my lb is 18 months old and although he’s still feeding he’s been asking for more water at bedtime etc so I’m wondering if my supply is dropping hence the more wrinkly slightly orange peel effect. I really should pay more attention to my boobs and check them properly. They are definitely different but hoping it’s just the feeding. I only really properly registered the changes today and then googled which is never a good idea!

Is it both breasts? If so it's far more likely to be due to feeding.
Inflammatory breast cancer is unilateral and the breast is red and very swollen all the time.
It doesn't sound like that.
Go and see your GP for them to check it out to be sure.
Try not to google. People never put good news on there!!

Thank you Willow, I did a bit more reading after I posted and came to the same conclusion as yes both are very similar, fingers crossed. It was looking at pictures that worried me but I think the dimpled effect on mine is a result of blocked pores and the orange peel effect a result of reduced milk supply. Though as I said to my husband tonight I can’t complain about saggy, spotty breasts when I consider the alternative! I’ll pop to the doctor to get checked but feel less panicked than I did earlier. Thank you
