Drink lots of cranberry juice - will help flush out the infection (soory - no pun intended and take some live yoghurt to counteract the effect of the antibiotics.

lemon barley is good.alternate with cranberry.if you started them today you should start to feel better by tomorrow morning.

I was told (rightly or wrongly) that drinking lots of water helps, because it dilutes the infection so it's not so concentrated when you wee.

you need to drink loads of water as much as you can stand. It honestly will help the burning - as knanny said - it will dilute the wee which means it doesn't burn so much. Also the more you wee, the more you flush the infection out.

If it's very bad sit in the bath to pee.

With water in it of course!
