Itching C-Sec scar after 6 months - normal??

My scar has always been itchy at times but this week I´ve noticed it much more, it´s itching everyday and is quite uncomfortable. It looks OK still a bit red. Does anyone know if this is to be expected after 6 months? I´m getting a bit paranoid...

BTW I am in Spain so it´s pretty hot here - could that be why?

havent had a c-section, but my episiotomy still gets itchy and achy when im tired. i asked my friend if she got this after hers, and she said hers still felt sore when she was poorly, and her babies were born 7 and 5 years ago!
so dont know if thats any help or not.

i hope you don't think i'm being rude, but do you have a bit of an overhang?

if so, it could just be a sweat rash or fungal infection and should respond to canesten or similar.

if you don't then tell me to shut up and bugger off for being so rude to a stranger

Yes I do so you´re probably right. I´d rather it be that than something more sinister!!

its worth getting it checked out by your doc though, just in case.
