He had a headache and a temp on Tuesday night, but was fine yesterday, although he did mention just once that his head was still sore. Since 5am he has been in and out of our room saying he feels sick and his tummy hurts. He hasn't been sick, but keeps going to the toilet and making retching noises!. He also has refused breakfast, and is pale
I don't know if he is ill though, because his class are going to the junior school today and he ahs been really panicking about it. Also he has done this in the past and as soon as we have got back home from school he has been fine. Plus I'm supposed to be going for a job interview today!
I'll feel awful if he is ill, but part of me can't help but think he's pulling the wool over my eyes. God I'm an awful mother aren't I?

There's definitely a bug like that around - dd has just got over one. She had a high temperature, was headachey, dizzy, off her food, had a sore tummy and felt sick - was only sick a couple of times, though. She wasn't too bad for the first couple of days, just a bit headachey, then it got worse. She was ill for about 5 days.

Hope he feels better soon.

I kept him off, and cancelled the interview.
He lay on top of his bed watching a DVD without complaint, so he must have been ill. He then got into my bed and had a sleep for about 2 hours (as did I). He's had a drink and seems a bit better.

My dd has been ill all week with exactly the same symptoms as WWB's dd.
