Brown/pink discharge 6 weeks pregnant

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I noticed yesterday some brown/pink discharge when I wiped. I rang my dr as I haven't had a midwife appointment yet and they told me to go A&E to get checked. The dr said it is quite normal and just keep an eye on it and has booked me in for a scan on Wednesday. Just wondering if anyone else has experience this and went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I can't help being really worried and it's the start of something worse. I have no pains just the spotting.

Hi, I have experienced this from 5-8 weeks every day on and off. Went dark brown, clotty, watery at points (sorrry tmi) and I was very worried. Thought the worst such as mc or ectopic.
Dr said spotting relatively common but pregnancy could go either way and I had to wait it out. Had a scan at 10.5 weeks and was terrified - but everything was fine! Had another one this morning and have a healthy wriggly baby at 14 weeks. So I would say as long as you are not in pain try not to worry as I think this is more common than health professionals would have us believe. My partner’s theory: my body might have been clearing out all the old stuff I.e. old blood. As long as it’s not heavy or bright red please try not to worry. Although I know this is easier said than done. I tired to distract myself and take it easy as much as possible! Not long til Wednesday either x
