Can someone remind me how to space Calpol/Nurofen dosage?

dd has a flu-type bug atm and I need to get her temperature down.

Is it 2 hours in between Calpol and Nurofen? She is 6 btw.

I tend to do 3 hours between - that way you get to 4 doses of each in 24hrs, although docs did tell me once that if their temp is really high both at once is better - but spaced out is the way to go if her temp is coming down OK but then going back up too soon IYSWIM.

i always use calpofen first for a big temp as it works quicker for ds. i tend to leave it 2-3 hours before giving calpol unless temp is still going up then i might give the calpol sooner. Hope she feels better soon.
