Another 6 month check up and a filling for both children again. Feel i really need to put my foot down on the sweets/sugary food front. As my ds said 'well, it's your fault mum for letting us get away with it!' He's quite right so was just wondering what regime everyone else has for allowing sweets etc. Don't want to totally ban but obviously need some action.

i've got a mouth full of em .sad]
Ate too much sugary rubbish when i was a kid.
It'll be limited in this house when ours is born, and wanting sweet stuff.

Sweets limited, in theory, to once a week. Friday is sweetie day. This is difficult when they get sweets for someone's birthday at school and therefore doesn't always work. Older two are now in braces so we enforced no sweets at all for a while, but this has slipped a bit! None of mine have any fillings yet.
