Lump in leg

Hi, can anyone give me advice my 22 month old son has got lumps as golf ball in both of his legs just under his knees and has gone reddish (not bug bites), did not have pain for past 2 days took him to doctor gave antibiotic but did not know what it was. now he is in pain and it is spreading to the upper leg. What can it be and anything I can do love some suggestions

I've no idea what it could be but I'd be heading back to the dr's, I think.
