Big blister on my leg - weird?

I've got a weird blister on my leg - middle/top of my thigh. It started as a really sore raised bump about the same size - it looked like an enormous bite and then about 12 hours later turned into a blister.

It's not a burn.

Anyone ever had anything similar?

Probably from the bite.

I've had something very similar years ago. It was revolting but went after a few days. Mine was likely caused by a mosquito.

I have no idea what bit me, are there mosquitos around in England in early Feb? The house can be quite spidery though. Anyway, I've cursed whatever it was - and that's made me feel better about it...

I've had a reaction like that after an insect bite, you have my sympathies!

An antihistamine tablet and cream should help
