Hi,

I've just got back from the GP as I've had a really bad cold since Wednesday and my chest is so tight and painful and feeling pretty crap. My temp is slightly raised but not greatly, my peak flow was 250 and the GP can hear a wheeze when I'm breathing. They said there doesn't sound like an infection on my lung but think the viral infection is causing asthma symptoms. (I had this about 6 years ago and was put on steroids). Doctor has given me two inhalers and told me to take the blue one as an when I need it. How long would you say it should take the blue inhaler to help relive the coughing and pain/tightest in my chest. I took two puffs at 10 and by 11.30 was really struggling again so took it again. I feel pretty awful and hurt so much.

Thanks
