My dd has a cold, is this just normal behavior?

My dd used to go down really well at bedtime, now she takes ages to settle plus she is refusing her solid food by shaking her head when i bring the spoon to her mouth. Is this normal when they have a cold?

in that case sounds pretty normal
keep offering milk and maybe some finegr foods if she's not down with the spoon at the moment
might she be teething as well?

She has 4 teeth at the moment and there hasn't been any real problems with them coming through. I am just dreading meal times at the moment, she always used to eat her food well. She will eat the fruit or yogurt i give her though which is worring me because it could be the cold or it could be her just refusing dinner and wanting pudding.

My ds is 10 months and has just done exactly the same thing for a week or so. He had a horrible cold, I took him to the doctor because his eyes had gone all gunky and she said he had a bit of an ear infection. Screamed for hours going to bed and would only eat yoghurt or finger food. Just go with it, I'm sure she'll go back to normal when she's feeling better We gave a dose of Calpol a couple of times to help with bedtime.

Thanks. I am taking her to the doctors tommorrow because her cough is getting no better, it's really crackly and nasty.
