Should I seek further advice or wait it out?

I’ve been ill for a few days with flu-like symptoms and a UTI. My GP prescribed antibiotics for the UTI yesterday and advised the usual for the flu symptoms - fluids, rest, paracetamol etc.

However, I have another symptom that the GP wanted to get checked out further. Since Sunday morning just gone I have had a patch of numbness stretching down the inner side of my left thigh to my knee. It camr on suddenly, no injuries, no back issues etc. GP advised this is often caused by a trapped nerve in the pelvic region, and as I have had some mid cycle bleeding and have an ovarian cyst, he is concerned this could be linked and made an urgent referral for an ultrasound which should come through in a fortnight. (Just to add, Ive just had a smear test recently which haven’t had results of; also had an ultrasound in August to check the cyst and it was quite small and sonographer wasn’t too concerned. Nothing else found).

My concern isthat today the numbness has spread across my whole thigh and down into my feet. I can walk, not in pain, but my whole leg feels cold and numb.

Should I g back to my GP? Should I just wait it out for a bit? I’m not sure if I’m being dramatic, but it’s such a weird and unpleasant sensation and I’m feeling like death warmed up right now and not thinking straight. WWYD?

I think I would go back to my GP if it is spreading down to your foot.

I'd call 111 for their advice, a cold numb leg should be checked out.
