I have severe health anxiety and I have been feeling unwell lately. This morning I have happened to notice this area of discolouration on my breast and I am worried about it. There doesn't same to be a lump in the tissue of the area.
Should I visit the GP with this?

It looks like a bruise to me. If it is still there after two weeks i’d go and get it looked at.

Is it itchy, have you been scratching? Pop some sudocrem on and see if it helps and as the pp said see your GP if it's still there in a few weeks. Looks like eczema to me.

It hasn't been itchy at all, I only happened to notice it earlier this morning but I will try sudocrem and see how it goes.
Thanks for your advice :)

Is that really your breast? It looks like your arm.

I'd be mildly concerned. Only because I went to the breast clinic and one of the screening questions (years ago now) was something like have you any skin rash/discolouration on your breast. No harm waiting a week and see if it goes I'd say.

BusterGonad · 24/01/2019 07:48

Oh, it's the top of your breast near the breast bone. Definitely looks like eczema, Sudo cream won't help, get some hydrocortisone cream and try that for a week or two.

Looks like a patch of eczema/dry skin. E45 for a few days.
