Just that really and sorry in advance if I've put this Q into the wrong section!

Mine were exhaustion after a bit of exercise, several.times over a few weeks following a severe viral infection.

lis02 · 20/01/2019 17:52

Thank you for your reply, did it get worse gradually or quite quickly?

Mine was a serious viral infection which I never recovered from. Literally could not get out of bed for months.

Maykid · 20/01/2019 18:45

Exhaustion following a bereavement, panic attacks. Then slow decline in energy and mobility over the next few years. Had it over 30 years now.

MrsGxx · 21/01/2019 15:18

Fatigue, headaches, dizziness,
I just couldn’t get out of bed for a couple of months, I was very tired eyes always felt like they’d been dipped in chlorine

Thank you for all of your replies. I've been going back and forth to the docs as I've been so exhausted, even hoovering for 2 mins has me lying on the couch for the rest of the day which isn't like me at all, I'm pretty active. Headaches and sore muscles also. This has been going on for 4 months now, had all the blood tests done and they've all came back fine. My doc thinks it's anxiety but I've had it for years and it's never affected me like this before. On tablets to see if they help my anxiety but I still have all the symptoms.

Did they check your B 12 levels?

lis02 · 22/01/2019 08:41

I've just asked my doc and he said no so they're going to test my b12 levels and diabetes then that's me had all the blood tests done for tiredness etc

If your next blood tests results are negative ask for a referral to a rheumatologist Op, they diagnose ME/CFS and fibromyalgia.

lis02 · 22/01/2019 09:20

Okay thank you, will do

Don’t just take their word on the blood tests. Ask for copies. You can be in range but low in the range and be left feeling very unwell.

Costacoffeeplease · 22/01/2019 09:28

Mine started with a sore throat and swollen glands. Went into work one Monday morning and was sent home at lunchtime. I didn’t go back for 6 months, and then only ever managed 4 mornings per week. At first I used to sleep about 22 hours per day and couldn’t hold my arms up long enough to wash my hair

I still have it nearly 30 years later - I nap every afternoon and pace my activity levels. I always know when I’ve overdone it as I lose the ability to read and even watch TV - I keep turning the volume up then realise I’m not processing it, rather than can’t hear

lis02 · 22/01/2019 14:07

I think the fact I've been anaemic before and never felt as exhausted as this is concerning me a bit. I'm to get bloods taken for 2 last things and il just have to take it from there. I'm taking multivitamins etc and eating as healthy as I can. I feel like I'm zoning out a lot too which isn't like me. I just hope it's nothing serious

OP posts:
KatyMac · 22/01/2019 14:09

Try and get your Vit D tested too

lis02 · 22/01/2019 16:16

Can that give you exhaustion as a symptom?

OP posts:
KatyMac · 22/01/2019 17:08

oh yes total exhaustion
