About 2 weeks ago i woke up with a bite on my inner thigh. Cant remember if it was hot ie if i had the windows open or not.

It was very itchy when i woke up and i left it. It went down after a couple of days but could still see it. I started to get a bit of a headache 3 days ago now in the front of my head.

The bite has come backup and it hurts, It sort of looks like a blister in the middle but the under red bit has spread around by about an inch or so. (Am measuring by strectmarks).

Wondering what else i can do for it. I put magnesium sulfate on it last night, used savlon, anti hsitermine cream. what else?.

Should i go to the docs?

Give your surgery or NHS Direct a call.

I've just got back from Turkey and have lots of mozzie bites which look just like you've described! I'm just using TCP cream at the mo, but I'd expect them to have gone down in about a week. Since yours has been there a while, might be worth ringing NHS direct to check - did you show the bite to the pharmacist in case they can suggest anything else?

If it might be infected don't put antihistamine cream on as this could make an infection worse.

Sorry don't have anything else to advise! Maybe you should go to doc's as it's been there for a while.
