Disposal of unwanted/unused medicines

Went through my meds box and I have old antibiotics, old Canesten, and old Omeprazole to dispose of. Can I take these to any pharmacy or does it have to be the one that prescribed them? I'm aware that they can't be binned or flushed.

Any pharmacy, doesn't matter which one

Any pharmacy will accept them

And why have u got old antibiotics left when you should always take the whole course?

Sometimes pharmacies supply more than is needed for the full course!

Or you can be switched to a different course if the first is not effective.

"And why have u got old antibiotics left when you should always take the whole course"

Good question
