Have you had tennis elbow injections

I have had tennis elbow for 6 months and have now been told I will have steroid injections for it. Has anyone had these who can tell me what to expect

A guided ultrasound one? They smart a bit I won't lie but it's over fairly quickly. Pain can increase for a couple of days after but then when the injection works it's bliss.

Yes, several times. Didn't work long term though, only thing that has worked is acupuncture and altering the way I do things - no pulling a suitcase for instance
