Has anyone had the pneumonia vaccine?

I keep getting chest infections and thinking of paying to get this. I'm 55.

Anyone ever had it and did it help?

I think you should go and talk it over with your GP. The vaccine is specific for a particular type of pneumonia.
I have to have it because I am immunosuppressed.
It may or may not be appropriate for you.
