Newly found hole in vulva - sound normal or weird?

I’m thought I was quite familiar with my nether regions and a week or two ago noticed what looks like a new hole in my vulva.

It’s below the clitoris and above my actual vaginal opening. It’s 1/2 centimetre round and directly in the middle, and I have no idea what it could be.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

It's the hole you pee out of.

Sounds like your urethral opening. It's the hole you pee out of!

1/2 centimetre round sounds massive for your urethra, but the location you've described is your urethral opening.

Are you sure it's really 5mm?

Nnamecchange · 02/01/2019 17:46

Noooooo it’s not that! That’s up next to my clit, this is further down....

Please tell me you didn't think you peed out of your vaginaShock

Watto1 · 02/01/2019 17:46

So you have 4 holes down there altogether OP? Hmm you need to book an appointment with the Gp ASAP

gamerchick · 02/01/2019 17:50

Are you sure?

Nnamecchange · 02/01/2019 17:51

Yep, on that diagram it’s at the top of the vaginal opening, it sort of seems to be a crater more than anything?!

If you have 4 holes then make an appointment with the nurse

At the top of the vagina entrance is your urethra you pee out. It is NOT up next to your clit.

Walkingthroughawall · 02/01/2019 18:05

The urethral opening can be quite variable position wise (and to the person who cracked a joke about peeing from your vagina, in some people it does indeed open into the vagina). If it’s literally a ‘new hole’ you should probably see your GP.

ChristmasFlary · 02/01/2019 18:20

Could be a fistula in which case you need to be examined

Blablaa · 04/01/2019 08:28

OP did you see your GP, what was the outcome?

Nnamecchange · 04/01/2019 08:30

I saw the doctor yesterday and he said there was a small tear which has scarred over, basically. I used to horse ride a lot in my teens so he thinks that it’s possible from then.

Nothing to worry about but no idea why I’ve never noticed it before!

Well probably because you're not in the habit of getting the mirror out that often? Grin glad to hear it's all fine.

YeOldeTrout · 04/01/2019 17:19

I was wondering if you had a bi-furcated uterus.
