i'm thinking of asking to change dd's vaccine schedule so that in month 4 she doesn't have all 3 jabs together
she's already had 2 month jabs ie general all purpose one and the pneumo. I definitely want her to have the follow up pneumo but not at the same time as the men c and the general one. has anyone done this? I know I know, I am fussing, but still . . .

My dd had her 2nd Men C separately from the rest so that it was 2 months from the first one. This was because I didn't want her to have 6 vaccs in one go which is what they get with the last batch, and I found a department of health document on the internet that suggested that the Men C vaccines should be given 2 months apart, whereas the normal schedule puts them 1 month apart. My HV and gp practice were fine about this, although I suspect that some might be less accommodating. Ask - and be prepared to be quite forceful if necessary.
