wurlywurly · 26/06/2007 13:47

QueenofBleach · 26/06/2007 13:51

Yes and the drain removal was fine, you are so hazywith painkillers

QueenofBleach · 26/06/2007 13:52

I had self ministered morphine, fab

Piffle · 26/06/2007 13:54

yep thats what I had with my other op
much easier to suffer through post op with good drugs

I had an emergency appendectomy when 2o wks pregnant - paracetamol afterwards FFS

Grim.
If you go private ESP through BUPA the post op treatment is ACE!

wurlywurly · 26/06/2007 13:55

i'm so tempted cos i'm so fed up of not being able to find underwear to fit. dh said he will support what ever decision I make, just dont think i can afford £5,000 to go private.

wurlywurly · 26/06/2007 14:00

very hard to get on NHS petal really hard I've been turned down twice despite being told to lose weight (I'm a size 10 FFS) I did and got down to under 9 stone (I'm 5ft 6) and they boobs did not go down at all and still GP refused to refer me.
Plus if you do get NHS op they do not give you the size you want, they take away enough to make you comfy

I have major back problems and neck problems from mine, plus permanent indents onto my shoulder bones from bra straps. Maybe your GP will be kinder...

do you buy from bravissimo - treat yourself to a good bra from there - it has made my life way more bearable
