Feeling weird - is there some virus about?

I got back from a demo last night at about 9pm and felt sick with stomach ache (had been like it on and off through the day) - put it down to tiredness.

In the night I got up to see to DS and my legs gave way - I found it very hard to put any weight on them. I've woken this morning with slightly more strength, now just more like I've been on a 10 mile run.

My arms are feeling all weird and weak too, and my right hand is freezing.

Any random viruses about that match up with that or should I be concerned?

Worrying a bit about the school run tbh, not sure how far I can walk. I've got work to get done when i get home, but after that I can try and sleep for an hour (if DS co-operates)

Everyone I speak to atm has some illness.

We all had D&V last week and this weekend I have felt crap and today dd is complaining of a sore back and tummy ache.

From what you describe you sound all fluey with the lack of strength.
My nan has just got over something like this. She said she couldnt quite put her finger on it but it sounds just like this.
Try and get as much rest as you can. Is there anyone to help out?

Nope, not really any help I'll see if my friend can take DD into school for me, that might help a bit.

Its really weird - I think its probably a mix of a virus and just generally breaking myself by overworking & lack of decent food/sleep.

I was going to mention your lack of eating recently making you weak and more prone to things. Please tell us you haven't been starving yourself again?

Flame · 26/06/2007 08:20

I'm eating when I get the time!! Its not intentional starving I promise you, just a mix of lack of time and lack of feeling hungry (probably where I am constantly doing 10 things at once I don't process the hunger)

Well if you haven't been eating and sleeping well, it eventually catches up with you and bites you in the bum.

Frizbe · 26/06/2007 12:52

hope your feeling better soon and got a bit of rest this am? and eaten of course!

Feeling a lot better - managed to sleep all morning, have eaten and taken paracetamol.

Not quite right, but not as bad as I was
