Swollen glands on the right side, feels scratchy inside my throat but mainly one sided (right) taste buds are off, If I smell my own breath it smells to me, but my Dh doesn’t think so.
Already been to ENT Who didn’t see anything and did a neck MRI which also came back clear. Also been having slight ear twinges like ear ache but lasting no longer than a few seconds and not all the time, also smelling things that aren’t there.
Bloods have been organised for glandular fever which can’t be done until 31st. First avail appt.
anybody have any ideas would be great?

Lingual tonsillitis will cause the same symptoms. You can't see your lingual tonsils unless they do an endoscopy.

Perhaps try mentioning this as a suggestion?

Hi I have recently been to the doctors for similar problems.

I have a lump in the right side of my neck, have felt ill for months and have bad breath, dry mouth and eyes and a whole list of other problems.

Doctor suspects thyroid issues, due to the symptoms and my family history. I’m booked in for a blood test soon.

Thankyou for the suggestions, brown moose I think they are sending me back to ENT in the new year
Evemary ive had a lot of other problems along with it also, but I’ve had a thyroid blood test and all was fine, suspected tonsil stone but it’s not.
I’m having more tests in January as I’ve been referred to an endocrinologist and if nothing is fount from them il be sent back to ENT I should imagine as my doctors have done a lot and I don’t think they can do anymore. I have been booked in for bloods on the 31st for a full blood count and to check for glandular fever so we shall see. Xx
