Possibly pneumonia or glandular fever

Been unwell since early Nov cough, cold has peaked twice with fevers, nausea, body aching.
Today my throat has double in size one side so back to dr (4th time) hes sent for bloods as told him I’ve been in contact with glandular fever case but concerned about length of cough also chest x Ray.
I feel like death have you had either would you say it sounds like either of those things? I’m so fed up of feeling ill been weeks and weeks :(

Not sure on the glandular fever tbh. I had it when I was 20, I felt absolutely awful, flu like symptoms, and my tonsils were so swollen they were almost touching.

Absolutely no cough though. The hallucinations were a surprise!

Give it 48 hours after your samples sent it and ring for results, if it's glandular fever, then great, well, you know what I mean, you'll have An answer and can manage the symptoms. If it's not then push for more tests, it's miserable to feel that rough for as long as you have!

I think my hallucinations were from the high temperature, it's the most ill I've been in my life.

Oh, and i hope you feel better soon, it's also miserable being ill at this time of year!

Thank you yes it awful this time of year had to miss carol singing at school 😢and cancel 3 nights out this week. But I feel like I could sleep for a week

I’ve had this. My throat is swollen one side😢 tonsils feel huge, some days worse than others I’ve had chest X-ray, camera down throat and neck mri and they’ve not fount anything. This feeling in my throat is the worst and it’s been since October 11th to be precise. I’ve had bloods for glandular fever & absolutely nothing 😫 xx
