c-section scar really itchy - what does it mean?!

Hi

I had my dd by emergency c-section 20 months ago.

Scar healed well and quickly with no real problems. Occasionally get a bit of a twinge on the right hand side but that's it really.

Over the last month or so it's become incredibly itchy on this side tho.

I generally suffer dry skin and can be quite itchy anyways but this is heaps more than anything I've had before.

Can anyone advise why it's suddenly started itching like crazy now?

TIA

Mine itches like mad if I wear certian fabrics, particularly satin type materials.

aha! you may have figured it out for me!

think it's the elastic in my french knickers - they're a bit lower slung than the old M&S granny pants I used to wear.

finally shifted a bit of weight so my frilly knicks have been unearthed from the back of my drawer - 'scuse the pun LOL.

thanks ladies

I did wonder if that was it. The same happened to me, once the granny knickers were ditched!
