Is there such a thing as a "hormone-ier" period?

This period seems so different, like a bulk of hormones:

  • cramps started five days before I came on,
  • headaches from hell still going strong cd4 despite bleeding on the way out.
  • I've got spots; I never have spots.

Can you get a "ultra hormones" sometimes??

I'm 30, got kids, regular 24-26 day cycle.

They can vary that's for sure.

Yeah, I seem to have an extra hormone-y period every 3 or 4 months. It's often followed by an extra-easy period, which is nice!

I have bad ones every few months or so and they normally coincide with a generally shitty hormonally unstable and overly emotional month.

I figure it’s because I’m almost forty and things are starting to go awry.

Oh great fun isn't it!

Definitely ! I'm suffering the same. Also nearing 40 Shock

It's crap. Getting spots and dry skin, tender boobs, periods closer together, anxiety, rage, thirst, hunger, knackered ness
