Ok I've always had very boney feet. I was a dancer for years (those who know - know). But what the hell is growing out of my right foot??

Left side, under the big toe is a bunion.

Right side under the little toe, is a tailor's bunion, or bunionette.

WTFIsAGleepglorp · 30/11/2018 16:59

Sorry, didn't see the left foot.

You've got bunionettes on both sides.

Couldn't stop looking at your nail polish thinking if it beats mine for "how long shall I leave it before I just put another coat on top" .......Grin

The bumpy thing near your toe? Bunion?

NoArmaniNoPunani · 30/11/2018 17:11

Bunion. I had surgery on mine in the summer, the improvement is amazing

BettyCrook · 30/11/2018 17:13

yes by the big toe is a bunion by the small toe is a bunionette
you must have been finding shoes painful for a while and too tight? my sympathies. orthotics, wide shoes and surgery are the options Sad

housequery · 30/11/2018 17:15

@ADastardlyThing can't be arsed.

Had both my bunions fixed at the same time a few years back. Recently I had a foot X-ray (unrelated) and the foot doctor was gazing at my X-ray in admiration. "Tell me, Did Mr FabFootDoc do your bunions?" he asked "why yes, how did you know?". "oh, he has a certain style. they're perfect, look at that alignment".

Made it all worthwhile (that and not being in pain and being able to wear absolutely any pair of shoes I choose).
