post-childbirth discharge

well i don't know who else to ask about this, it is such a hassle getting a dr's appointment, so can someone help?
had 1st baby 11 weeks ago - homebirth, pretty straightforward, though an uncomfortable tear which then got infected (still aches, but that's another question). I didn't bleed for long (2 weeks, I think), with a bit of browny discharge for a bit longer.
But I'm still producing some kind of yellowy discharge from somewhere or other, and I don't know if it's pee (don't think it can be, it's too yellow and (sorry) doesn't smell right) or a discharge. How can I tell? And is it normal still to have quite a bit of discharge 11 weeks on?
Help, this is beginning to depress me...
Thanks!

Doesn't sound quite right, probably worth getting GP to take a look & check for infection.

agree with liath - and even if it is just pee you shouldn't really be leaking much 11 weeks on.

thanks liath.

should clarify though, the 'not smelling right' is more that it doesn't smell of pee, not that it smells horrible (TMI! Sorry!)

could it be thrush? that can cause a sort of yellowy white discharge.

Don't think so - it's a very thin discharge. Anyway, sounds like I should brave the doctor on monday.
