Willy problem?

I don't know if DS, 3 in October, has a problem with his willy. For months he has from time to been lying on his front with his hand on it while rocking - I didn't think much of it as thought it was a comfort thing. For the past week he has taken to lying down at every opportunity and doing this. He says it's not sore or hurting. Before he came out of nappies he used to flinch whenever I wiped or moved his willy but said it wasn't sore. I'm taking him to the doctor but just wondered if anyone has any experience of this?

I assume it's not swollen in any way? My ds had fimosis as a baby which is where the foreskin is tight and causes a swelling/infection. He has since grown out of it without the need for surgery. It was very obvious though and sore. Perhaps your ds is just very sensitive in that area which will wear off a bit as he gets older. I would also say that ds who is now 3 1/2 spends a huge amount of time fiddling with his bits when he is naked - I'm hoping it's a phase!
