Bicarb of soda to get rid of trapped wind? Am in pain!!!

I have been told this works and i am suffering tonight. Do you know how to make it up? How much to drink how quickly it works. If it sends the wind up or down.

Just mix some in water and see.
Andrews is good as is any indigestion remedy and i find that going on your hands and knees with your arse in the air relieves the pain and expels the wind.I have lovingly named it 'The wind position
Hot water bottle also good.

I* get it and it goes into my shoulders and only feels ok when moving.

Peppermint tea is amazing. I had awful trapped wind after my section with ds3 - begged the midwives for something, they gave me that- and wow- it was amazing ( & noisy tmi I know...)

I seem to remember having some as well and i also think it has got some booze in it but dont know how true that is.

Peppermint tea or peppermint water (from chemist )is good.My mother also swears by charcoal tablets.She has IBS so is an expert on such matters
