Since Friday, I’ve had intermittent pain on the lefthand side of my chest. It’s hard to describe but feels like it’s within my rib cage, beneath my left breast, and today I’ve been feeling it a bit in my back too- again, on the left side.
The pain has grown worse today and it now quite constant.
Other than that, I have a slight hacking cough. Don’t feel congested, or like I need to cough anything up.
I’m breathless. Not struggling for breath, but feel like I’ve jogged for the bus when just strolling in the shops.
Lastly, I’m quite cold and haven’t been able to heat up. This is unusual for me- I tend to run hot.
My GP doesn’t open at the weekend so will ring for an appointment tomorrow, but may not been seen until Tuesday or Wednesday.
It’s not a crushing/radiating pain so don’t think it’s chest pain relating to heart trouble.
I’ve had lung infections before, but always accompanied by a terrible cough, and the pain was more central, and bronchial.
Has anyone had an infection where the main symptom is pain like this?
