Constant stomach flu - at least once or twice each month! :(

Hi,
What are the best ways to prevent constantly getting stomach flu (i.e. diarrhea and nausea)? I do have IBS-D so maybe my gut is more sensitive to bugs in generally anyway but I do avoid eating anything with my hands at all (literally never do - as I always use cutlery, etc) and don't have any kids that would pass their germs onto me.

Any ideas? Thank you

It could be issues with your gallbladder and not a stomach flu.

I presume you have IBS not IBD.

I think you should get to the GP - could be gallbladder etc. Unlikely to be a stomach bug twice a month if no one else you know is getting sick.

It could be histamine intolerance if it's happening so very often. It's very unlikely that you'd be catching stomach viruses that often- even people with very poor hand hygiene and/or young kids who catch them a lot, only get 1-3 stomach bugs each year.
