Would you go to the doctors with this?

End of january I went to gp as I basically have a grumbling appendix. Arranged bloods. In the week up to having bloods I wasn’t well. Had a burning/hot sort of feeling in my stomach, above belly button, didn’t have an appetite and feeling a little sick. I was at work etc so not that bad and didn’t mention it at the time. Had the bloods and I had to have them repeated as it showed I think it was inflammation. Repeated and was ok. Was left to get on with it. Appendix not too bad this year but well aware it’s ‘grumbling’.

Anyway this week Iv noticed I feel the same again. Since Wednesday ish Iv not had an appetite, I have the burning sensation and a little sick feeling. Again, Iv been at work and got on with it, just not eaten as much as I would normally. This is where I don’t know if I’m being paranoid or not. I had a stomach ulcer about 13 years ago and was very ill as I’d had it nearly a year and was fobbed off by doctors until I was rushed to hospital with it suspected burst but it hadn’t. Googling (I know I know) suggests possible ulcer.... but when I had it before I just had horrific pain in one place and no other symptoms.

I don’t really want to go to gp as Iv been a few times already this month (being investigated for fibro).

Any nurses or doctors about with an opinion of this please?

Also when I DO feel hunger instead of where you’re belly just rumbles it’s an uncomfortable pain?

Not a nurse or a doctor, but it may be worth getting an appointment

Def worth a gp appointment.

Is it like acidic? I had a burning feeling like that before and followed an alkaline diet from some website and hey presto I was ok again! If I’ve picked you up wrong - sorry

Last time it last I think coming up to 2 weeks but then just disappeared and I was fine again? I’m not ‘ill’ with it, just not great? I think by the time I get an appointment it will have gone? What would they do then? I don’t want another camera put down my throat again, that was honestly the worse thing ever. I’d rather give birth again.

No not acidic, not like heartburn. It’s sort of hot?

It doesn’t move, so doesn’t come up and down the throat or anything, always the same place.
