Second child and I'm ashamed to say he has nappy rash by day 9...

Using both cloth and disposable, have tried baby wipes but now back to plain water in case it's those.

The skin is broken and I have no idea what to put on it, if anything...having nappy free time as we speak, quite fun watching what and when comes out of his little bottom!

Or am I weird...

Please advise. We have sudocrem, zinc and whatever it is, and clotrimazole in the house.

Thankyou!

My dd got nappy rash whenever she wore a disposable nappy - (Like almost intantly!) try the eco type of disposables, made of cornstarch so non-irritation but stay dry against skin. Same with wipes, the eco type are perfume and irritant free. But water and air prob better!......

Aha! Perhaps it is the freebie pampers samples then...
Will go back to cloth immediately! Thankyou wildthings.

Poor mite. I was determined it wouldn't happen this time!
